Painted from life outside my kitchen window, as ravens stopped at our birdbath in the heat of summer. The desert environment can be so cruel, and birds appreciate the urban birdbath as our changing environment makes fresh water more difficult to find. I appreciate that they make my yard a stopping point and point of rest on their journeys.
